Joseph S. Lemmon, Principal
For over 25 years, Joe has been providing Behavioral Health and various HR programs to public and private entities. Joe began his career at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center in 1982, creating and implementing that facility’s first Employee Assistance Program and assuming the leadership of an inpatient substance abuse treatment program for five years.
A recent position as an EAP Specialist with the Department of Health and Human Services provided Joe with hands on EAP design and implementation in the federal sector providing consultation with agencies in the design, planning and presentation of topics and public speaking for Federal agencies on various behavioral health topics.
In his role at HRWS, Joe excels at assisting clients to envision and execute their HR and Behavioral Risk programs. He delivers presentations in the areas HR Consultation, Behavioral Risk Management and Behavioral Health, Strategy and HR employee and management development issues. Joe has experience in working with all the generational cohorts with excellent evaluation ratings.
Joe has received his bachelors and masters degrees from Towson University and the University of Maryland. He co-founded the Closely-Held Business Network (Baltimore) in 1992 involving over 125 businesses. Joe is a certified EA practitioner and is trained as an expert Critical Incident responder.

John Laughlin, Ph.D
John Laughlin, Ph.D., LCSW-C, is a senior staff consultant for our firm
providing consultation in the areas of mental health, organizational effectiveness
and spirituality in the workplace. Dr. Laughlin has served as director
of numerous mental health agencies, as Mentor for Empire State College
(SUNY), as Adjunct Professor for the Union Graduate Institute and is also
a faculty member of the International University of Professional Studies.
John's affiliations include being a Clinical Member of the American Association
for Marriage and Family Therapy, a Certified Doctoral Addictions Counselor
and a Diplomate of the American Psychotherapy Association. John is available
for Executive Mentoring services and consultation in the areas of organizational
development, coaching, and wellness in the workplace.
Penny George, LCSW-C, CEAP
Penny has been in the EAP field since 1996, providing clinical services
and training and development programs to businesses in the region. Penny
has been a practicing social worker since 1973 and holds two masters
degrees in the behavioral sciences field. Penny has worked extensively
with companies in the areas of EAP-related concerns, CISD intervention
and Womens Issues in the workplace. In her role, Penny provides
individual and organization consultation on a variety of issues. Pennys
down-to-earth style is one that employees and managers find appealing-she
assists associates of any level in the organization with personal and
worksite issues that impact performance and productivity.
Paul Giannandrea, MD
Dr. Giannandrea has practiced in the field of psychiatry for over 10 years
and is Board Certified and certified by ASAM (American Society of Addictions
Medicine) as well. In his role at HR Workplace Solutions, Paul provides
consultation as necessary as well as intervention with physicians and
senior health care personnel in the areas of mental health and addictions.
Paul also is an excellent speaker and provides inservices and presentations
in the areas of Organizational Health to both our internal staff members
and our client organizations.
Suzanne Kondner, MA
For over 20 years, Suzanne Kondner has designed and delivered lively and
entertaining programs. Her courses improve customer satisfaction, teamwork,
and sales in fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and non-profit
organizations. Suzanne designs and delivers training and development programs,
including The Proactive Manager, in a wide range of topics for management,
supervisors, and a diverse array of staff positions. Suzanne has worked
as a department manager in a large financial and at age 27, became a board
member of the American Institute of Banking. She is a certified instructor
for several national firms and has taught programs all over the U.S.
Thadius W. Sale, BA
Thadius is a master trainer and facilitator in workforce Coaching, Team
Building, Diversity Management, Leadership and Harassment Prevention.
Working at the individual, small groups and systems levels, he is nationally
recognized in the area of consulting and training. Past clients include
Federal and State government(s), Communications-Entertainment companies,
IT Firms, Banking, Retail and Colleges and Universities. As a Native American,
Thadius enjoys a rich cultural heritage that compliments his designs and
deliveries. He has over twenty-five years training and management experience
with Fortune 500 companies.
John David Smith, MA
John David (JD) is a designer/facilitator who delivers state-of-the-art
training and development services with our firm. JD has been a facilitator
in the areas of teamwork, diversity/gender equity, and leadership and
harassment intervention for over twenty years and specializes in delivering
The Proactive Manager to our clientele. He works at the individual,
small group and systems levels providing coaching, group and organizational
interventions. JD has extensive background working with corporate officers
with several Fortune 100 companies being former clients.
Bob Kittle, MA, CPC
Bob provides a wide range of consultation and intervention services for
the Group. His areas of expertise include addictions and compulsive disorders
as well as significant experience with family, marital and stress issues.
Bob also has experience with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Debriefing) and
with group intervention with workplace issues and concerns.
Linda Grande, LCPC
Linda has been in the EAP field since 1990, providing clinical services
and training and development programs to businesses in the region. Linda
has worked extensively with companies in the areas of Organization development,
Stress Management, Critical Incident Stress Debriefing intervention and
Womens Issues in the workplace. In her role at HR Workplace Solutions
her duties include providing consultation on EAP and HR-related items.
Linda also excels at EAP Awareness seminar presentations to employee and
community groups.
Elie McLaren, Ph.D
Elie has twenty years experience in fields of counseling and education,
is a licensed counselor and is also a certified addictions counselor.
Elie brings a wealth of talents to our firm and frequently provides inservices
on topics such as Work/Family Balance, Organizational Change, Anxiety
and Depression, Womens Issues and Personal Growth/Life Transitions
seminars. Elie is completing her doctorate in Educational Psychology and
Counseling and is an educational consultant in the areas of adolescent
drug abuse and learning disabilities.
Rochelle U. Hayward, LCSW-C
Rochelle currently provides consultation, training and assessment services
to our client companies. She has over 20 years of experience in the social
work and psychology fields and specializes in services to families and
children. Rochelle frequently consults to individuals, companies and agencies
on learning disabilities issues and family systems concerns.
